As a visual artist I have personally always been compelled by the wonder of humans and how we connect to one another. My work has always included elements of figurative design, often speaking to the connection between humans as well as the cultural and systematic significance carried within the human body. Unfortunately the arts community continues to be vastly underrepresented leaving it sometimes difficult to connect and heal within the community using the power of the arts. As we all have come to learn throughout the Global Pandemic, many are left feeling disconnected from one another not only physically but emotionally. It saddens me to think that during a unique time in the world where we as a global society share one collective struggle, we still remain divided.

Within my artistic process, I work to create sympathetic imagery inspired by the human connection as connection and harmony amongst each other allows us to grow in ways we otherwise would not. I believe there is truly nothing on this earth more valuable, delicate and beautiful than how humans connect to one another.
